Starting a project · How we work together
What happens after you approach us
Last reviewed: September 2026
Overview
From first contact to delivery, in five stages
Typical elapsed time from a signed agreement to delivered files: five to ten working days.
Brief and scope
You tell us the objective. We return a written scope.
Agreement
Scope, fee, schedule and rights, signed by both sides.
Brand and materials
You send brand guidelines and any assets we must use.
Production and approvals
We produce, you approve at three written gates.
Delivery and rights
Final files in every format, rights transferred to you.
Nothing starts before the stage above it is closed in writing.
The one rule that holds the five stages together.
Stage 01 — What we ask, and what you receive
- The objective, and how you will judge success → a written scope of work in both languages
- Who the film is for, and where it will run → a treatment describing what the film will be
- The single message it must land → a schedule with named approval dates
- Duration, formats and language versions → a fee, fixed against that scope
- Your deadline, and who approves on your side → the list of materials we need from you
Stage 02 — The agreement
- Scope and deliverables: exactly what is produced, in what formats and how many language versions
- Schedule and approval gates: dated milestones and how long each approval is held open
- Fee and payment terms: a fixed fee against the agreed scope
- Revisions: two rounds at the defined gates, and what counts as a new scope
- Rights on delivery: you own the delivered films outright
- Confidentiality and data: how your material is held, who sees it, when it is destroyed
Stage 03 — Brand and materials
- Logo files, vector where possible; colour palette with exact values
- Typefaces, Arabic and English; clear-space and usage rules
- Approved wording and claims; tone of voice in both languages
- Mandatory legal text; names that must not change
- Product images or packshots; footage we may reuse
- Work you like, and work you do not; anything we must avoid showing
Stage 04
Three written approvals, each one closing a stage
Nothing moves forward on a verbal yes.
Script and treatment
You approve the words and the direction before a single frame is generated.
First cut
You see the film assembled, with one revision round available here.
Final cut
Grade, sound, subtitles and language versions signed off together.
Each approval is held open for two working days. Beyond that the schedule moves by the same number of days.

Tell us which kind of project
Most requests fall into one of six types
Naming the type early sets the treatment, the schedule and the fee.
Public awareness
Behaviour-change and community messaging.
Service explainer
Making a process or a new service understood.
Sector and investment
Positioning a sector, a zone or an opportunity.
Event and campaign
Announcement, run-up and post-event.
Internal communication
Policy, safety and workforce films.
Social series
A run of short films on one theme.
Requirements form
Give us what we need, in one place
The form asks the questions from the checklist above. It gathers and suggests — it does not quote, commit a date or agree terms. You receive a written scope within two working days.
Prefer to talk?
A thirty-minute introductory session. Bring a live requirement rather than a hypothetical one, and you will leave with a written scope and a date.

Starting a project — questions answered
What happens after I send a brief?
You receive a written scope of work in both languages within two working days — a treatment, a schedule with named approval dates, a fixed fee against that scope and the list of materials we need from you. No fee is quoted before the scope is agreed.
Do I need a brand manual?
No. If you have one, send it. Without a brand manual we work from your published material — website, social channels and existing films.
How long does a project take?
Typical elapsed time from a signed agreement to delivered files is five to ten working days for an AI film. Each of the three approvals is held open for two working days; beyond that the schedule moves by the same number of days.
What is in the agreement?
Scope and deliverables; schedule and approval gates; a fixed fee and payment terms; two revision rounds at the defined gates; rights on delivery — you own the delivered films outright; and confidentiality and data handling. Signed by an authorised signatory on both sides.
Who owns the delivered work?
You do. Full rights transfer on final delivery with no usage window and no renewal. BiSSMiXi retains the project files so a later edit does not start again.
Can I submit requirements in Arabic?
Yes. The form on this page and every document we return are in Arabic and English with equal weight.
Who is my point of contact?
One named contact on each side. That is the whole governance model — committee feedback is the main reason projects overrun.
